DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy

DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy

At Sealz, we take copyright infringement very seriously. This DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy outlines the procedures for copyright owners to notify us regarding potentially infringing materials found on our website.

Submitting a DMCA Notice

If you are a copyright owner and believe that your work has been infringed upon, you can submit a notice to us in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). To file a valid DMCA notice, you must provide the following information:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work: A clear description of the work you believe is being infringed upon.
  • Identification of the infringing material: A description of the material that you claim is infringing, including the location of the material on our website (URL).
  • Your contact details: Your name, address, phone number, and email address where we can reach you.
  • Good-faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Statement of accuracy: A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate, and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative.

How We Respond

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will promptly investigate the claim, and if we determine that the notice is valid, we will remove or disable access to the infringing material. We will notify the individual who submitted the content that their material has been removed.

Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe that your content has been removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:

  • Your name and contact information.
  • A description of the material that was removed and its location before removal (URL).
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed due to a mistake or misidentification.
  • A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any legal action relating to the counter-notice.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Once we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If we do not receive notice that they have filed an action seeking a court order against you within 10 business days, we may restore the removed material.
